On March 31, 2010, a federal judge ruled in favor of the Recent Past Preservation Network in the lawsuit involving Richard Neutra’s Cyclorama at Gettsburg. In the case, the Recent Past Preservation Network, Dion Neutra, and Christine Madrid French had filed case against the National Park Service and associated representatives for failing to follow federal regulations in their decision to demolish the Cyclorama. Following the ruling in favor of RPPN, the National Park Service must now go back and re-evaluate its decision to demolish the structure. This means that the NPS must consider other alternatives in the face of demolition.
